Jewelry is among the most ancient arts, it has reflected personal meaning to humanity for thousands of years.

I'm Julia Kellogg, and I have always been passionate about art and design. As a kid I poured over fine art books from garage sales. My first jewelry memories are in my grandmother's closet bursting with beads, shells and pearls from her travels abroad. 

In my travels to India, Turkey, Italy and France, I found inspiration in the decorative arts and richly colored cultures. I draw my designs on paper, carve them in wax, and cast them using an ancient art that's 6,000 years old. Every step is done by hand, in precious metals and gemstones.

In college I studied metalsmithing while I earned my BFA. It felt risky to major in art, but I'm grateful I did as jewelry making has been my constant companion. I recently expanded my team to include a hand full of local Seattle bench jewelers who share my passion for metal work.
